You know that you can see ALL the homes for sale at my website by clicking on the little turquoise house. And you've probably noticed the "Featured Homes" flipping on the upper left of my website. But sometimes a little nudge can get you to think outside the box. So I want to call something that may be of interest to your attention. If you don't like historic homes, a good deal, and a project, don't call me about this one. Though perfectly livable, this house has not had the attention it should have had in recent years so the deferred maintenance has piled up a bit. It's a foreclosure. Priced at $214,950. It's about 2200 square feet and it was completely redone on the inside in 1991...so new plumbing and new wiring and insulation are in place. Right now it needs a new standing seam roof, all new siding on the outside and some foundation work and landscaping. A coat of paint on the exterior is just not quite enough to do it. But the location is superb. It will take about $100,000 to do it right but with patience and a few years you will get your money out of it. If your a flipper...forget it!
